Light of Hope Pregnancy Center in Sumter, South Carolina offers confidential peer consulting to teen girls and young women who may be pregnant and are unsure of what to do. In a loving, non judgmental atmosphere, a Light of Hope staff member will meet with you and provide a free, medical quality, urine based pregnancy test. If your pregnancy is confirmed, we will then discuss with you your options: abortion, parenting, and adoption.

There is no charge for our services. As we do not provide or refer for abortions or adoptions, we have nothing financially to gain by the ultimate decision you make. We are a non profit organization funded to help you make the best decision for you in light of being fully informed about all your options.

Our Sumter abortion alternatives center is located on 207 North Main Street in Sumter, SC. You can call us at 803.773.8858 or toll free at 800.671.0681.  Our office hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 in the morning through 2 in the afternoon; Wednesdays we’re open from 9:30 in the morning through 12:30 PM.  Tuesday and Thursday evenings a staff member may be available to speak with you by appointment.  We hope to expand our hours soon to meet the need for additional pregnancy help services.

Our Sumter pregnancy services also include providing information on the Morning After Pill, the Abortion Pill (RU486), and Sexually Transmitted Diseases & Infections.  If you have questions about abortion procedures, we’ll be more than happy to answer those for you. We can also help your boyfriend or husband better understand the pregnancy options available to you as well as provide the information & referrals you need should you choose to parent your new child.
